1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how RoofHyve Inc. uses cookies, pixels, software development kits (“SDKs”), local storage, session tokens, logs, device identifiers, email tracking technologies, and similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) when you access or use RoofHyve websites, portals, mobile applications, APIs, landing pages, email communications, and related services. This Policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Information Collected Through Cookies
Depending on configuration and user activity, Cookies may collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, session information, referring URLs, geographic region, time zone, portal activity, clickstream data, user preferences, authentication information, error logs, and usage statistics. Cookies generally do not intentionally collect highly sensitive personal information unless necessary to support functionality, security, or a user-enabled feature.
6. Third-Party Cookies and Technologies
RoofHyve may permit certain third parties to place Cookies or use similar technologies to provide functionality, analytics, security, communications, payment, integration, support, and monitoring services. Third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms where they act independently.
7. Advertising and Targeted Advertising
RoofHyve does not currently operate a behavioral advertising network. If RoofHyve uses advertising technologies in the future, it will provide additional notices, disclosures, consent mechanisms, and opt-out opportunities as required by law.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” signals; because no universal standard applies to all such signals, RoofHyve may not respond to all Do Not Track requests. Where legally required, RoofHyve will recognize Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signals for covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities.
9. Cookie Consent and Controls
Depending on jurisdiction and applicable law, RoofHyve may present cookie banners, notices, preference centers, opt-in mechanisms, or opt-out mechanisms. Users may control Cookies through browser settings, device settings, privacy controls, cookie preference centers, and third-party opt-out tools. Blocking or deleting Cookies may affect functionality and performance of the Services.
10. California and Other Privacy Rights
For California residents, information collected through Cookies may constitute personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. RoofHyve does not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. If certain analytics or advertising technologies are deemed “sharing” under California law, applicable opt-out rights will be honored as required by law. Residents of other states or countries may have additional rights as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Data Retention
Information collected through Cookies may be retained for varying periods depending on cookie type, business purpose, security requirements, legal obligations, and system functionality. Retention may range from a single session to multiple years depending on operational requirements and provider settings.
11A. Account Deletion and Device-Level Controls
An account deletion request may result in deletion, anonymization, or restriction of account-level identifiers and related personal information where possible, as described in the Privacy Policy. However, cookies, SDK identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies stored on a user device may need to be cleared through browser or device settings.
Certain cookie, authentication, security, analytics, and log records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, troubleshooting, audit, dispute resolution, or business recordkeeping purposes.
12. Changes
RoofHyve may update this Cookie Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting unless otherwise required by law. Material changes may be accompanied by additional notice where legally required.
