1. Acceptance
These Customer Portal Terms govern your use of the RoofHyve customer portal or customer app. By creating an account, logging in, viewing a proposal, uploading content, signing a proposal, sending a message, or otherwise using the portal, you agree to these Terms.
2. RoofHyve Is a Software Platform
RoofHyve provides software used by roofing companies. RoofHyve is not your roofing contractor, solar contractor, gutter contractor, inspector, engineer, architect, insurer, claims adjuster, warranty provider, financing provider, bank, or payment processor. Your roofing services, proposals, warranties, cancellation rights, refunds, payments, work quality, scheduling, and disputes are between you and the roofing company unless RoofHyve separately agrees in writing.
3. Your Account and Login
Customer portal access requires login. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for notifying the roofing company or RoofHyve support if you suspect unauthorized access. Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked if the roofing company disables your project or account, if we detect security risk or misuse, or if access is no longer necessary.
4. Proposal Review, Signing, Rejection, and Cancellation
The portal may allow you to view proposals, download documents, digitally sign proposals using typed or image signatures, reject proposals, cancel proposals within an applicable right-to-cancel window, and receive signed PDFs or other documents. Your electronic signature or acceptance may be legally binding. Review the full proposal, scope, pricing, exclusions, warranties, cancellation language, payment terms, and other documents before signing.
The applicable cancellation window may be three (3) to five (5) days, or another period required by the roofing company’s contract or applicable law. RoofHyve does not determine your legal cancellation rights. Contact the roofing company if you have questions about cancellation, refund eligibility, warranty terms, project scope, or contract terms.
5. Uploaded Files, Images, and Messages
You may be able to upload files, images, photos, documents, claim-related information, and messages. You represent that you have the right to upload anything you submit and that it is accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and relevant to your roofing/project matter. Do not upload malware, unlawful content, unrelated personal information, or content you are not authorized to share.
6. Insurance, Financing, and Payment Information
If you provide insurance claim information, adjustor or agent details, payment preference, financing preference, or related information, the roofing company may use it to evaluate, manage, or communicate about your project. RoofHyve does not provide insurance, claim adjustment, financing, lending, or payment-processing services to you. Any manual payment instructions are provided by the roofing company or applicable processor, not by RoofHyve.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate contact, property, project, appointment, insurance, and payment-preference information.
Review proposals, warranties, scope details, cancellation terms, and project documents before signing.
Use the portal only for your own project or authorized purpose.
Do not attempt to access another customer’s account or project.
Do not upload malicious, infringing, unlawful, or irrelevant content.
8. Privacy
Your information may be visible to the roofing company managing your project and its authorized users. RoofHyve processes customer information according to the RoofHyve Privacy Policy and, where applicable, as a service provider/processor for the roofing company.
9. Portal Availability and Changes
The customer portal may change, be unavailable during maintenance, or have features enabled/disabled by the roofing company. RoofHyve does not guarantee uninterrupted portal access. Download and retain documents you consider important.
10. Disclaimer and Liability
The portal is provided to support communication and document workflows. RoofHyve does not guarantee roofing work, proposal accuracy, project timing, warranty coverage, inspection results, insurance coverage, financing approval, payment outcomes, or customer-contractor dispute resolution. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoofHyve is not liable for roofing company performance or customer-contractor disputes.
11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute between you and RoofHyve arising out of or relating to these Customer Portal Terms or your use of the portal will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action, and you and RoofHyve each waive the right to a jury trial, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. This section does not apply to disputes between you and the roofing company, which are governed by your agreement with that company.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@roofhyve.com within thirty (30) days after you first accept these Terms; opting out will not affect your access to the portal. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right you have under applicable law, including the right to bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court or to contact a government agency.
12. Contact
For project, proposal, cancellation, payment, refund, or warranty questions, contact your roofing company. For portal technical support, contact support@roofhyve.com. For privacy questions, contact privacy@roofhyve.com.
