Delete Your RoofHyve Account

This page explains how users of the RoofHyve mobile app, published by Roof Hyve Inc., can delete their account and associated data, what is deleted, what is kept, and for how long.

Option 1: Delete your account in the RoofHyve app

If you can sign in to the RoofHyve app, you can delete your account yourself in a few taps:

1. Open the RoofHyve app and sign in with the email address on your account.
2. On the Home screen, tap your profile icon in the top-left corner to open Account Settings.
3. Tap the Edit Profile button (pencil icon) next to your name to open Update Profile.
4. Tap the ⋮ (three-dot) menu in the top-right corner.
5. Tap Delete Account (Profile icon > Account Settings > Edit Profile > ⋮ > Delete Account).
6. Review the notice. It explains that deletion is permanent and lists the business records that are kept (see below).
7. Tap Permanently Delete Account to confirm. If you change your mind, tap Keep My Account instead.
8. You are signed out. Your login access is removed right away and you return to the sign-in screen.

Deleting your account in the app is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app, can no longer sign in, or prefer not to use the app, you can request deletion by email:

1. Email privacy@roofhyve.com from the email address linked to your RoofHyve account.
2. Use the subject line “RoofHyve Account Deletion Request”.
3. Include your full name, the email address on the account, and the roofing company you use RoofHyve with, if any.
4. Reply to our verification message. To protect your account, we confirm the request came from the account holder before deleting anything.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can edit or clear most profile details yourself on the Update Profile screen (Profile icon > Account Settings > Edit Profile). To have other specific personal information removed while keeping your account, email privacy@roofhyve.com and tell us what you want removed.

When deletion takes effect

• In the app: your login access is removed and you are signed out immediately. Your personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
• By email: we acknowledge your request within 2 business days and verify your identity. Once verified, your login access is removed, your personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, and we email you to confirm.
• If a legal retention requirement prevents us from fully completing a request, we will tell you what was kept and why.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or permanently anonymize the personal data tied to your individual RoofHyve user account, including:

• Your account and login access
• Profile details: name, email address, home and cell phone numbers, and profile photo
• Identification details stored in your profile, such as ID/license number and Social Insurance Number
• Emergency contact information and role information stored in your profile
• Personal settings, notification preferences, and device tokens used for push notifications

Work you did in RoofHyve that must stay in a roofing company’s records, such as an estimate you prepared or a message you sent, is kept but is no longer linked to your identity. It may appear as “Deleted User” or “Former Employee”.

What data is retained, and for how long

RoofHyve is a business platform used by roofing companies. As shown in the app before you confirm deletion, some records belong to the roofing company, or must be kept by law, and are not deleted with your individual account:

Important notes

• Company employees: deleting your account removes only your individual user account. It does not delete your company’s RoofHyve workspace, subscription, other users, or business records. Company administrators can also remove employee access from the Roofer Portal.
• Company owners: to cancel your company’s subscription or close the entire company workspace, contact support@roofhyve.com. Deleting your individual account does not cancel billing.
• Customer portal users: project records, proposals, and signed documents shared with you by a roofing company are controlled by that company. We may forward your request to the company or help them respond.
• Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Use one of the options above.
